Will I have a local number?
All new activations that are not ported will have a number that is local to Kasson. Any ported numbers will be local to the area they originated from.
Can I keep my current cell phone number?
Yes, nearly all cellular numbers are portable. Even landline numbers from some of the larger carriers like Qwest can be ported to KMCellular.
Is there an activation fee?
Yes, $35 per cellular phone number. However, if you purchase the phone without a contract, this fee is waived.
What is the coverage area for KMCellular?
KMCellular offers nationwide coverage. Please note that many things can affect cellular reception including weather, location, phone quality, and metal structures.
What is your billing cycle?
The monthly billing cycle will start on the 17th and end on the 16th of the following month (your minutes will be reset on the 17th of each month). You will receive your bill around the 1st of each month. Your first monthly bill may be up to twice as high to make you current with the billing system, all prices are prorated so you will only be charged from the day you started service.
Payment is due by the 15th of each month. Activation fee, equipment cost, cost of any accessories and prorated minutes expected at time the account is opened. Only monthly plan charges will be billed monthly. |
