how to use voice mail
This information applies only to the voice mail system accessed by dialing 634-3333 (customers who have fiber to the home).

TO GET STARTED:
Dial 634-3333 to access your voice mailbox to initialize your account. It will walk you through these steps:
- Change Your Pin
- 4 character minimum
- Do NOT use last 4 digits of phone #
- Do NOT use a sequence of numbers (example: 1234)
- Do NOT use the same 4 numbers (example: 2222)
- Record Your Name
- Set-up Your Greeting
RECORDING YOUR GREETING
Start by dialing the Voice Mail Access number – (507) 634-3333 (you will
hear a message telling you the number of messages you have.)
- Press 3 for Greeting Options
- Press 1 to set up a personal greeting
- Press 3 to select a system generated greeting or change the recording of your name.
- Press 5 to set up a greeting, callers will hear when your phone line is busy.
LISTENING TO MESSAGES
A stutter dial tone will indicate that there are messages waiting when
you pick up the receiver of your phone. The following instructions will
help you retrieve your messages.
Listening to Your Messages From Home
- Dial the Voice Mail Access number – (507) 634-3333
- Press 1 to Listen to Your Messages.
Listening to Your Messages From Elsewhere
You can access your Voice Mail from any touch-tone phone.
Dial the Voice Mail Access number – (507) 634-3333.
- Enter Your 10 digit Phone Number: (Home Telephone Number).
- Enter Password followed by the # Key.
(default password is 1 3 5 7).
- Press 1 to Listen to Your Messages.
CHANGING YOUR PASSWORD
The default password is 1 3 5 7. For security purposes, please change your password. Follow these steps: Dial the Voice Mail Access number – (507) 634-3333
- Press 4 for mailbox settings.
- Press 3 for Security Options.
- Press 1 to change your PIN.
