Gena Giese

Gena is our Customer Service Manager. She started at KMTelecom in 1997, which means she’ll be celebrating 30 years in 2027! When she first started, the business was primarily focused on landline telephone services. In fact, her very first day was the launch of our own long-distance service, and the phones were ringing off the hook with customers wanting to make the switch. It was quite an exciting way to begin her career at KMTelecom! One of the things Gena enjoys most about working at KMTelecom is that there are always new innovations happening. It’s an exciting and ever-changing industry, and she loves being part of it! Gena is married to her better half, Curttis, and together they have a beautiful blended family with five children. Their family is growing by leaps and bounds these days! They have two grandbabies, another one due at the end of 2026, and they’ll also be gaining two sons-in-law soon. When she isn’t working, you’ll most likely find her somewhere outside on their hobby farm. They have a big vegetable garden in the summer that keeps them busy, along with a few animals. Gena also enjoys tending to her flower beds and creating a welcoming space for birds, butterflies, and honeybees. Gena grew up right here in the community. Her family moved to Kasson in the summer of 1976, just before she started kindergarten. She is proud to say she’s a K-M graduate!
